Saturday program & Ballet Folklorico
Saturday Sports & Activities Program

The BPAL Saturday Morning Sports & Activities began in January of 2007. The Saturday program began with 15-20 youth and now is up to 85-100. The Saturday program runs during the BUSD school year and provides youth with something fun and healthy to do on Saturdays. Banning Police Officers meet the kids at Nicolet Middle School gymnasium from 10am-2pm. BPAL Kids are issued their own navy blue BPAL shirt which they wear each Saturday.
BPAL Kids choose what sport or activity they want to such as play basketball, dodge ball, dance, skateboard, make crafts, playing tennis, and of course, socialize. BPAL Kids also contribute to the community by washing cars for free or picking up trash from the local park and school campus.
BPAL Kids look forward to lunch when pizza is delivered at noon. With a "Please and Thank You," kids enjoy a slice or two of Johnny Russo's Pizza. Police officers and BPAL kids make a great team when it comes to having good clean fun in a safe environment.
